Phyta

About

Phyta is a duel purpose fertiliser that supplies highly available phosphate in the form of di-potassium phosphate and mono-potassium phosphate as well as potassium, zinc and copper. Phyta is chelated with organic acids that maximise nutrient uptake and translocation within the plant. Phophite P is highly systemic through the plant thereby maximising resistance to disease including downy and powdery mildew, scab, botrytis, phytophthora and pythium.

Mode of Action

Di-potassium phosphate and mono-potassium phosphate are highly plant available and tranlocate through the Xylem and Phloem. Phophite has been seen to have additional contact fungicide properties.

Benefits
  • Duel purpose fertiliser and maximisation of resistance to fungal pathogens
  • Highly available K, P, Cu and Zn
  • Translocates up the Xylem to the foliage and down the Phloem to the roots.
Application

Phyta should be applied before periods of stress , generally around flowering when plants are most susceptible to pest and disease. Consult a Real IPM Consultant/Technical Assistant on suitable application rates, frequencies and methods for your crop and growing system.

Compatibility

Phyta has been found to be compatible with most commonly used fungicides, insecticides and fertilisers. Physical compatibility should first be checked by using the current proportions of products in a small jar test. Growers should then test tank-mix combinations for phytotoxicity on a sample of crops prior to use.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place in the original sealed container.
