REAL METARHIZIUM 69 is a contact bio-pesticide that does not need to be ingested for effective action. Once the REAL METARHIZIUM 69 spores come into contact with the cuticle of the target pest, they germinate, secreting enzymes, which are specific in their ability to weaken the insect cuticle. This action then leads to water loss and ultimately the death of the host insect. The fungus then invades the host directly through the cuticle and once inside it proliferates through feeding on the host’s internal organs, killing the host.

Real Metarhizium 69 is a broad-spectrum biopesticide and is used as a preventative and curative foliar spray to help control thrips, mealybug, whitefly, snout beetles and woolly apple aphid.

REAL METARHIZIUM 69 has no maximum residue limit (MRL) or preharvest interval (PHI) and can therefore be applied till the day of harvest.

REAL METARHIZIUM 69 does not affect pest predators or other beneficial insects, and is able to achieve pest control while allowing the incidence of predation to escalate.

When pest pressure is high, REAL METARHIZIUM 69 can be applied in combination with predators (beneficial insects) or other compatible insecticides.

Store in a cool dark place between 8-20°C. If refrigerated, allow the product to reach room temperature before using as spores settle at the bottom of the bottle and are difficult to shake into solution when cold. Shake very well before use.
