Real Bacillus BS01

About

REAL BACILLUS BS01 is a totally fermented formulation of live bacteria, metabolites and enzymes of Bacillus subtilis Strain BS01. REAL BACILLUS BS01 is a soil borne bacteria which has been formulated as a biofungicide for the control of a range of fungal and bacterial pathogens as well as a biofertiliser for plant growth promotion.

Mode of Action

REAL BACILLUS BS01 is a soil and foliar applied biofungicide. As a foliar application it exhibits both direct and indirect mechanisms to suppress disease caused by plant pathogens.

Benefits

REAL BACILLUS BS01 can be used as a preventative and curative foliar spray to aid in controlling a wide range of foliar fungal diseases including Powdery mildew, Blossom blight, Fusarium wilt, Citrus black spot, and Botrytis.

REAL BACILLUS BS01 is a rhizosphere bacteria that protects the plant against pathogens as a result of competitive colonisation in the soil. The condition of the soil at time of application must also be taken into consideration to achieve optimal efficacy.

Plants treated with REAL BACILLUS BS01 have an increased uptake of nutrients due to the bacteria’s ability to:

  • solubilise phosphates,
  • enhance nitrogen fixation, and
  • effectively mobilise iron for the plant (via the production of siderophores)

Compatibility

When disease pressure is high, REAL BACILLUS BS01 can be applied in combination with REAL TRICHODERMA TRC 900, Copper Soap, Phyta or other compatible fungicides.
